Tony Villareale
President
Name Tony Villareale
Title President
Tony grew up in Hampton Bays and was introduced to boating as a child. His family purchased their first boat in 1976. It was used to introduce them to the waterways of Shinnecock and Peconic Bays. Tony and his family frequented most of the local fishing spots and were always being pulled by the boat on water skis. During the summer while in Jr. High, Tony was asked to work on a yacht docked at the Bath and Tennis club in Westhampton Beach. He turned that opportunity into a lucrative boat detailing and piloting business that he developed through his high school years.
Athletics were always very important in Tony’s life, even more so when he graduated Hampton Bays High School and was given a wrestling scholarship to Ithaca College in upstate New York. During his college years as a physical education major and varsity wrestler he always knew that he would end up expanding his small boat business to the next level after he graduated college in 1988.
After college the opportunity came up to enter the retail boat business at the New York Boat Show. At that time, Tony founded Hampton Watercraft & Marine. The company started its first retail location in Westhampton Beach selling waverunners and marine accessories. The company has grown and is recognized as one of the leading boat dealerships in North America. Tony is very proud of his employees who have been instrumental in the success of Hampton Watercraft & Marine.
When not at the marina, Tony volunteers his time as Vice-President of the Hampton Bays Lions Club where his main focus is raising money to sponsor guide dogs to help veterans and other people in need; and enjoys time with his family at home, on the water, or traveling abroad.

Joe Villareale
Vice President
Name Joe Villareale
Title Vice President
I was born in Queens, moved to Brooklyn at an early age but really grew up in Hampton Bays NY. I was introduced to boating and fishing by my uncle in a 12ft aluminum Row Boat. Our family spent the Summers in Hampton Bays Fishing and Clamming in Tiana and Shinnecock Bays. Our first family boat was a 17’ Bow Rider. I will always remember when relatives would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always “I’m not sure but something to do with boats would be really cool”.
Growing up, Athletics was a big part of my life. Most of the life lessons I learned as a child I learned on the Wrestling Mats in Hampton Bays. Not wanting to ever be too far from the ocean, I continued my academics and wrestling at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. There I majored in sports management and had the privilege to learn more about what it takes to succeed by watching and working with members of several National Championship Teams.
Shortly after college I decided to join my brother in his already established business, Hampton Watercraft & Marine. I took over the Westhampton Beach facility while Tony expanded to our first marina in Hampton Bays. I immediately developed a passion for the marine business. I quickly noticed that if I applied the work ethic I had learned growing up that success soon would follow.
After spending more than 15 years running our highway location in Westhampton, an opportunity to buy a marina in Eastport came up. After negotiating for literally years, we eventually closed the deal and moved our Westhampton operations to the water on Moriches Bay. It didn’t take long for people to notice our different approach to customer satisfaction when compared to the other marinas in the area. Success soon followed.
There is nothing I enjoy more than working hard all day and then jumping in a boat with family or friends to watch one of our amazing Sunsets in Moriches Inlet. I also enjoy fishing and clamming in some of the same secret spots I used as a child. I look forward to traveling and my yearly escape to the keys to relax.
See you on the water!
